     We are an online community-platform that connects new faces (aspiring models) and professional models with reputable agencies, photographers and other industry professionals all around the world, thanks to our powerful database, contacts within the industry and partnership with productionparadise.com.

     Our dedicated team of professionals has a combined 30 years of experience in the modeling industry, from the catwalks of Milan, to designing IT systems for some of the premier model agencies in Europe.

   • Is modelmanagement.com a model agency?

     We are not a model agency - we connect models with agencies and photographers, which makes us completely objective when presenting models.

   • Why modelmanagement.com?

     Modelmanagement.com provides endless opportunities for models, photographers and agencies. Never before has a service been so easy, effective and truly global.

   • How does the site work?

     Simply register online for FREE! It will take you just a minute - if you're quick! And then continue to use the site. It's that easy!

   • I want to show my photos online but I only want me or people that I invite to see my photos. Is this possible? Can I have a private profile?

     Yes that is possible; just make sure you have the correct privacy settings on your profile: go to "Edit my profile", Personal Details, Privacy, and uncheck "All Public"

   • I' m already a Model, how would modelmanagement.com help me if I already have an Agent?

     Modelling is constantly about networking. Becoming a part of modelmanagement.com will help you gain more exposure for you and your agent.

     By adding your agency details on your portfolio, you will be reassuring the people who contact you that you are a serious, professional model. People can then simply get in touch with your agent to book you. This helps your agent to get you work and helps you get noticed by other model agencies worldwide - and it's all FREE!

   • How do I become a member?

     Click on the orange "Sign up" button on the home page and start completing your details.

   • What should I do after the sign up?

     As a model, once you have created your profile, you will be able to upload your photos and arrange them into photobooks (groups of your modelling images that belong together) and polaroid albums (pictures that show you in a natural way; without too much makeup, styling or posing).

     You can also complete more info about you, such as your experience, etc.

     When your profile is all set, you can apply for castings in: Castings -See Castings- tab

     You can then connect and search for other models, photographers and agencies and follow them as a fan, or get your own fans. When you are followed back you become friends.

     Send and receive messages, search for agencies and photographers and apply for Photo Sessions or our paid membership services.

   • Can I search for other members on the site?

     Yes, you can use the Models -Search Models- tab to look for other models that you may or may not know on the site. You can search by name, modelling categories, gender, body specifications, country or any other keyword that you like.

     You don't have to be a member to do this, so you can get an idea of what kind of people are already on the site before you join. You must, however, be registered as a member of modelmanagement.com before you can start contacting people.

   • How can I follow models?

     You will need to login and look for other models (look after question 9, if you don't know how to do it). When you are in the model profile, just click on follow, (posing the mouse over the avatar or the blue link under the profile picture on the left).

   • By joining modelmanagement.com will I be guaranteed work?

     No reputable modelling/talent agency or service can guarantee work. If they do, this is a warning of a scam. Modelmanagement.com cannot guarantee job placements for its members because the amount of jobs a model gets largely depends on the quality of the model's photographs, 'look' and what is in demand.

     Our Starter Pack and Premium Services are designed to maximize exposure world wide, thus helping you to be seen by the right people and to find representation.

2. About your profile in modelmanagement.com

   • What kind of pictures should I upload?

     We recommend you to upload the best pictures that you have of yourself. If you upload images of very poor quality, then this could be a disadvantage to you. The correct amount of pictures should be between 5 to 10 for each photobook.

     Upload shots by clicking in "Photobook" and then upload (see question#5).

   • How can I edit my profile info?

     First, if you have not signed up for a modelmanagement.com account you will need to do so.

     • Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password
     • Once you are logged in, click on "Edit profile"
     • Add or changing: personal details, public details, categories, tags, working locations (you can add up to 3 working locations), details of the agencies (name, website and email)

   • How can I create a photobook?

     First, if you have not signed up for a modelmanagement.com account you will need to do so.

     • Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password
     • Once you are logged in, In the lefthand menu click on "My presentation" -> Photobook, or in the navigation tab "Photogallery" -> Photobook
     • Click on the orange button "add photobook"
     • Select the pictures you want to upload from your computer
     • Click on open
     • Add title, descriptions and tags and save it!

   • How can I edit or delete a photobook or add more photos?

     First, if you have not signed up for a modelmanagement.com account you will need to do so.

     • Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password.
     • Once you are logged in, In the lefthand menu click on "My presentation" -> Photobook, or in the navigation tab "Photogallery" -> Photobook
     • You will now be taken to the Photobook management page. On this page, select the photobook that you wish to edit or delete
     • To delete one of the shots in the photobook, simply click on the "X" below each photo (when the photobook is open under the edit function).
     • Other way: in your main profile page, place the mouse over the photobook cover and click in Edit or delete.
     • Don't forget to save the changes at the end of the process!

   • How can I choose the main cover photo (the big one) for my profile?

     • Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password. Once you are logged in, click on "My Photobooks" under "My Presentation" (left column)
     • You will now be taken to the Photobook management page. On this page, select "Edit" on the photobook that contains the image that want to use for your main cover photo
     • Check to box next to your chosen image that reads "Use as main photo for profile"
     • Don't forget to save the changes at the end of the process!

   • How are agencies and other Industry professionals going to find me?

     We have created a powerful database and search engine to ensure that agencies can look for exactly what they need. If you have what it takes, they will find you!

     Another way to find you is when agencies and other industry professionals create castings: they use our search system to invite all the models they think have potential.

   • Why doesn't my profile appear online just after i created it?

     Because we moderate it first!.

     That means that we check through every single account to avoid unsavory or offensive images, scams or any other issues.

     Patience it might take us two days to go thru yours!

   • How can I delete my account?

     If that happens, we would like to know why, so we can work better for all of you... We will kindly ask you to write us an email with your reasons to [email protected] so that we can erase it!

     If you are just starting out you have some modeling experience, there is nothing more important for a new face than to find a model agency. Model agencies of the world want to see new faces in their best natural light, so they can decide if the model has potential.

     We created the modelmanagement.com Photo Session to provide models with professional photos, with no over-styling or harsh lighting, just the model looking their best for an affordable price.

     • Attend a photo shoot and receive professional photos.

   • What age do I have to be to apply for this services and the Photo Sessions?

   • Como puedo aplicar a una sesión de fotos?

     Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password. Look for the Photo session you want by clicking on "models" and then "Photo sessions". Make sure you choose the one nearest to you and then click on apply. Follow the instructions to pay for your Photo session and this will assure your participation.

   • How do I pay for the Photo Sessions and our paid services?

     Log in using your modelmanagement.com username and password. Look for the Photo session you want by clicking on "models" and then "Photo sessions", or if you want to upgrade to one of the paid memberships simply click on "Membership" and then "Model memberships".

     Then click on the option you want and you´ll be redirected to our payment page, where you can pay with a credit card (mastercard or visa) or via bank transfer.

     Just fill in the required details for the payment: first name, last name, email, phone, location details (address, postal code, country city), card details or just your email to send you the info you need to pay via bank transfer.

4. Convertirse en modelo

   • I would like to be a model what should I do?

     We believe that to be a model is about having "the right look", the right shots and the right place/people to show them to. As we are not a model agency (we offer a place for models to connect with agencies, photographers and other industry professionals), we highly encourage all new models to find and get representation through a reputable model agency. So you're at the right place to find one!

     Remember: To get working as a model you have to be proactive, it's not enough to just be sitting pretty. How? Use our website to get yourself seen. Apply for castings, create your own network, pimp up your profile by having everything completed including your very best shots. Your modelling career is in your hands too!

   • Can I Be a Model?

     You are likely to hear that to be a model you need to be beautiful, tall and slender with perfect proportions. Now this is certainly true for high fashion models, where designers want one type of model that they feel shows off their designs in the best way.

     However if you do not fit this criteria don't despair, as there are many other areas that you can work in successfully and lucratively as a model. The modelling industry needs all different shapes and sizes. It ranges from the models who are required for the runways of Paris and Milan to those being seen in the background of TV commercials. You need to find the right fit for you and your place in the industry.

     To help you with this we have listed the different types of modelling work that's available and the criteria for each, and as with most things in life there are always exceptions...

   • What are the main different types of modelling?

     Fashion: Covers a range of different disciplines within the fashion world, including runways and editorial, commercial print, catalogue and glamour modeling.

     High Fashion: When you see the incredibly tall and lean figures that grace the runways and editorials for the leading fashion houses and designers, these are the High Fashion models. They are generally required to be between 172cm to 180cm (5"8 to 5"11), with a dress size of 4-6 US (6-8 UK), with a typical bust size of 34. The age range can be from 14 to 25. For guys the age range is more flexible and they can start from the age of 16 until their late 40's. They need to be between 180cm to 188cm (5"11 to 6"2), with an excellent physique and a chest size of 94cm to 106cm (37" to 42") and 76cm to 81cm (30" to 32") waist. Guys tend to have longer careers if they look after themselves.

     Plus Sized: Modeling for the larger body type, this type of modeling is on the increase and a relatively new phenomenon. If you're confident, with great attributes and you are between the sizes of 12-16 US (14-18 UK) then this could be for you. More and more advertisers are using Plus Size Models to promote their products in a bid to appeal to a broader demographic. As a Plus Size model you will still need to have great skin, teeth and hair and have that something special about you. For High Fashion Plus Sized Models the height requirements remain at a minimum of 172cm (5"8).

     Real Life & People: If you like the idea of modeling, but do not fit into the above categories, then this could be for you. Real life models are used in advertising or corporate campaigns, when companies are looking to represent the everyday person. As a TV/Film Extra you will generally be non-featured (no speaking parts) and in the background of a scene. This can be fun and interesting to be part of, but it can also be long hours with lots of waiting around. The benefits are that if you are flexible with your days, it can be a good way to supplement your income.

     Body Parts: For example if you have great abs and pretty hands...

     Senior: Models that are older than 45 years.

     Remember to always be truthful about your measurements. You may find yourself looking for another career if you show up for a photo shoot and you aren't the size the agency or photographer is expecting.
